How do I connect my Yahoo league to Signals?
Open Signals, add a league, and pick Yahoo. You are sent to Yahoo's own sign-in screen to authorize read access, then returned to Signals with every Yahoo football league on your account listed — select the ones you want and they connect. There is no league ID to look up and nothing to copy and paste.
Does Signals need my Yahoo password?
No. You sign in on Yahoo's own screen and Yahoo hands Signals a read-only authorization for your fantasy leagues. Your Yahoo password is never asked for, never seen by Signals, and never stored. You can revoke the authorization from your Yahoo account settings at any time, or disconnect from Signals Settings, which deletes it on our side immediately.
Which Yahoo leagues can connect to Signals?
Every Yahoo football league on your account — public or private, redraft or keeper, shallow or deep. The connection is tied to your Yahoo account rather than to a single league, so leagues you join later show up the next time you re-scan.
Does live draft tracking work with Yahoo drafts?
Yes, and natively. Yahoo publishes picks while the draft is running, so Signals tracks your Yahoo draft in real time without any extension installed. The Draft Overlay extension is an optional extra that renders the same board inside the Yahoo draft room itself.
Does the Draft Overlay work in Yahoo draft rooms?
Yes. Install the Signals Draft Overlay from the Chrome Web Store and your board runs alongside the Yahoo draft room, striking players off as the picks land. Keep the Signals app open in another tab during the draft — that tab is what reads the picks and passes them to the overlay, so the extension never reads the Yahoo page itself.
What Yahoo league data does Signals import?
Rosters, lineup slots, scoring categories and modifiers, standings, weekly matchups with per-player points, draft results, and your waiver setup — FAAB balances or waiver priority. All of it is read live each time you open a view; Signals does not cache or store your Yahoo league data between visits.
Does Signals support superflex and IDP scoring on Yahoo?
Yes. Superflex is detected from a Q/W/R/T slot or a two-quarterback lineup, and defensive slots — DB, DL, LB, and true positions such as CB, S, DE, and DT — are read straight from your league. Scoring comes from your league's own stat categories, defensive included, so IDP values are tuned to your rules rather than a generic preset.
Can Signals change my Yahoo lineup or roster?
No. Yahoo leagues connect read-only: Signals never posts, chats, trades, sets a lineup, or adds or drops a player. Lineup Check flags the problem and deep-links you to your Yahoo team so you can make the move yourself, and you can revoke access from either Signals or Yahoo whenever you want.
