How do I connect my CBS Sports league to Signals?
The fast way: install the Signals Draft Overlay extension, click "Connect my CBS league" in its popup, then hit "Find my CBS leagues" in Signals — every connectable league you belong to shows up and connects with one click. The manual way: enter your league ID and paste the access token from your CBS league page.
Does Signals need my CBS password?
No. CBS publishes no login or authorization API for third-party tools, so the connection uses the league-scoped access token CBS itself writes into your own league page. The extension can read that token for you, or you can paste it yourself. Your CBS password is never asked for or stored.
Which CBS leagues can connect to Signals?
CBS Commissioner and Franchise leagues connect at any point in the season. Free CBS leagues connect once they have completed their draft — before draft night CBS publishes no league data for them to read.
Where do I find my CBS league ID?
It is the subdomain of your league URL. For yourleague.football.cbssports.com, the league ID is "yourleague." Older leagues sometimes use an all-numeric ID instead — either works.
Does live draft tracking work with CBS drafts?
Yes, and natively — CBS streams picks over its API, so Signals follows your draft in real time without any extension. The Draft Overlay extension is an optional extra that renders your board inside the CBS draft room itself.
What CBS league data does Signals import?
Rosters, scoring categories, lineup slots, standings, weekly matchups, draft results, and trade activity — plus prior seasons and championship history where CBS still holds them. Everything refreshes so your Signals tools reflect the current state of the league.
Can Signals change my CBS lineup or roster?
No. CBS leagues connect read-only: Signals never posts, chats, trades, sets a lineup, or adds or drops a player. Your league token is stored server-side under access controls, is never handed back to a browser, and you can disconnect the league from Settings at any time.
